Collaboration

Letícia F. Palhares is based at uerj (Departamento de Física Teórica). The collaboration began in 2013 and is ongoing, with 15+ joint papers. She holds the role of co-PI on the FAPERJ Emerging Groups grant and is a participant in the CAPES-PrInt “Strong Interactions” program, making her one of the key institutional figures in the research group.

Joint Work

Palhares’ contributions focus primarily on the non-perturbative structure of QCD and non-abelian gauge theories:

  • Gribov-Zwanziger framework: joint work on the effects of Gribov copies on propagators, confinement criteria, and the phase structure of gauge theories.
  • Spectral functions: analysis of Källén-Lehmann spectral representations in the context of confinement models and the Gribov-Zwanziger action.
  • Ghost-gluon vertex: joint work on the ghost-gluon vertex at general kinematics within the RGZ framework; this work connects to the collaboration with marcela-pelaez.
  • Phases of gauge theories: collaborative investigation of Higgs-confinement phases and the order/disorder of the QCD phase diagram.

Expertise

  • Gribov-Zwanziger and RGZ frameworks
  • Spectral functions and positivity violation as confinement signals
  • Ghost-gluon vertex at general kinematics
  • Phase structure of non-abelian gauge theories (Higgs-confinement, deconfinement)
  • Confinement models and criteria
  • Non-perturbative QCD methods
