Collaboration
Silvio Paolo Sorella is based at uerj (Departamento de Física Teórica) and is the most central collaborator in the research group. The collaboration began in 2010 and has continued without interruption to the present. He functions as a senior collaborator and co-PI on multiple funded projects, and is the co-author of virtually all papers produced since 2010 — more than 50 joint publications in total. He is a co-author of every paper in the quantum information program (2023–2026).
Joint Work
Sorella’s contributions span essentially the entire research output of the group. Key areas of joint work include:
- Gribov-Zwanziger framework: long-standing collaboration on the treatment of Gribov copies, the Gribov horizon, and the refined Gribov-Zwanziger action in non-abelian gauge theories.
- BRST symmetry: algebraic treatment of gauge symmetry, Faddeev-Popov zero modes, and BRST-invariant formulations of physical observables.
- Bell inequalities in QFT: co-author of all 21+ papers in this line, including the BRST-invariant Bell-CHSH formulation and the Weyl operator / Tomita-Takesaki framework.
- Relative entropy program: all papers computing Araki-Uhlmann relative entropy between coherent, squeezed, and cat states.
Joint funding includes multiple cycles of the UERJ Prociência program, the FAPERJ Emerging Groups grant, and the CAPES-PrInt “Strong Interactions” program.
